About Doris

Kelly Sullivan (a.k.a.Doris Décor) has an Honors Degree in FineArts, graduating from the National Art School in Sydney Darlinghurst, in 1999.
Whatever time I spend away from being a parent, I feel as though it must be praiseworthy, so I made a sea change to the Byron Bay Shire for a less hectic life, and to spend sunny days in fresh air with my kids, and I haven’t looked back.

I started collecting fabulous fabrics to make quilts for friends and family, and I painted portraits of their kids.
Extended friends and family also started to order my products, and now I sell them in the baby shops and at the local markets.
Before too long, I had fashioned a miniature empire for little people!

In a high unemployment area, I felt it crucial to pass on the extra workload to other creative Mums, and we take great pride in our handcrafted products, in which we search all over the world to painstakingly source all of the new retro reproduction cotton fabric, to bring together these timeless, one—off quilts for generations to admire!
